NEW: High Speed Bathymetric Surveys (35 kn. 60 kmh)

Operation

To carry–out operation and services SOA use full amphibious hovercrafts,  without the restrictions of traditional vehicles.

Because hovercrafts have no submersed propellers and require little pressure to lift (air cushion allows a distributed pressure from 5 to 10 gr x scm), its impact on the surface underneath (water or land) is practically  zero.

It is therefore possible to operate in highly sensible eco-systems, protected areas  as those included in  the Ramsar Convention. Differently from traditional vehicles static penetration tests or continuous core drilling can be carried-out without any damage to the surface underneath.

All our hovercrafts do not use exhaust discharge in the water and are equipped with diesel engines or 4 stoke low emissions. Our hovercrafts produce no waves.

SOA provide full operation service or just rent the hovercraft with/without  drivers. Our price is made in advance according to Customer requirements and always include for maintenance.

Different service packages can be agreed,  at discounted price, to be used within a limited period of time (yearly, quaterly etc.)

SOA is available to support  Customers requiring special methods and practices  to sort-out operating problems.
